My web page is www.marlyjohnson.com . I just bought Publisher 2007
- In Publisher 2007, everything is centered, but not anymore when I go on
internet. How can I correct it.
- I would like to have a button "Share it with your friends" on each page.
How I do this?
- I want to add a french version of it. What is the best way?
- If you see something that I should correct on my web, please feel free to
help a poor beginner!
Thank you so very much for your time,
Marly J.
The good news - you are attractive.
The bad news - your links on the right-hand side don't work.
From a cynical web surfer - I don't think I would put the request for
sponsorship at the location it is now. That's the first thing anyone
sees and it comes across as just a hair or two above spam. Perhaps a
much more subtle link, such as Sponsor Me or Advertise on my Site would
not be like trying to use a sledge hammer to put a thumbtack in a wall.

Use the pixel adjustment on the left border? Must be another way.
At this point there is no way to center a Publisher 2007 web page. You can
simulate the effect. Read: Understanding background padding in a Publisher
web (aka white space) :

Multiple languages? One way is to build your site with multiple Publisher
files. Create the second language version with second Publisher files, and
upload to a subfolder on your host for your other language version, and
cross link between the versions. Here is an example of a Spanish and English
version of a Publisher built website: http://www.somoscapazes.org/ where the
primary site is in Spanish, and the second language is built with a second
Publisher file, and then uploaded to a subfolder "english". Just click on
the "English" link in the upper left corner of the default Spanish version
(http://www.somoscapazes.org/english/index.htm), and "Espanol" on the
English version.
As Mike said, your links are not working in FF, and personally I think
getting it to work in both IE and FF should be a higher priority than a
second language. Download and install FireFox which is a small free
download, and test your site by viewing it, and then test the html files
before you upload them. One main objective is to get your links working in
FF. Try "ungrouping" the link "buttons" and/or not use a fill color. If
those two suggestions don't work, then post back after you get FireFox
downloaded and installed.
