"the two ddr dimm sockets support 2,5 volt unbuffered/registered double
data rate synchronous dynamic random access memmory (ddr sdram) of 64 mb,
128 mb, 256mb, 512mb ańd 1 gb to form a memory syze between 64mb and 2gb.
one side (with memory chips) of the dimm takes up one row on the
motherboard.
ddr dimms support non-ecc modules that are available in both registered and
unbuffered versions.
install memory in any combination as follows:
socket 1 - 64mb, 128mb, 256mb, 512mb, 1gb x1
socket 2 - 64mb, 128mb, 256mb, 512mb, 1gb x1
total system memory (max 2 GB)"
so, can yuo explain me why cant i install a 1gb kingston slot (only one) to
add to my 512 ddr?
i suppose that there is a mistake on one of the sides: asus or kigston.
please explain it to me as fast as you can.
I appreciate that.
Sincerely, andrea oliveira
