Hello there,

I want to configure two exchange servers with one proxy server. I am aware
of a knowledge base article that tells yu exactely how to do the
configuration but I am not 100% sure where it is. Can anybody help me with
this. I will be very grateful if anybody can point me towards this article,
or if anybody can give me a few configuration tips. Thank you. Please
forward return messages to mtu...@intermec.ie. Thanks

You need to have proxy client installed on both exchange servers and there
are configuration files you need to create and insert on the exchange
machines. These files will make the exchange server appear to be running on
the proxy.

NOTE: If you have someone else hosting your DNS, remember to allow plenty of
time for them to implement the DNS reference to your MX record; with Proxy
running, your MX record should point to the proxy IP address. Changes and
propagation on the internet may take up to 48-72 hours.

Got to technet and lookup article #Q181420; that'll tell you how to create
the files and where to put them.

Finally, once you get them both running, if you have to reboot proxy then
reboot the exchange server as well...and vice versa.
