Okay, I know the standard response to this one... Upgrade to IAS. Well, eventually, but for right now, i need to figure out why my Proxy server doesn't allow traffic past it. The service isn't dying, and the only error I can see is inetinfo.exe dies, but what the heck? Any ideas?

If you are talking about using MS proxy 2.0 on a Win2k Server, I would suggest you upgrade now and save yourself a lot of headaches only to scrap this setup a few months down the road. But if that option is totally ruled out??!!?? What have you done so far? Has this ever worked? Is this a Win2k domain or just a Win2k server with Proxy installed? jo MCP "Jody W" <jo...@sheads-associates.com> wrote in message news:uS3VXu1WBHA.1748@tkmsftngp05...

Inetinfo.exe is IIS and IIS *is* Proxy2. Actually Proxy2 is a plugin for IIS that turn IIS into a proxy server. If no IIS (Inetinfo.exe) then no Proxy2.
