Can anywone shed some light on what settings might need to be reviewed? or
if this is even possible (and I was just getting lucky earlier).
Thanks in advance.

You probably enabled packet filtering and dynamic filtering. Dynamic
filtering is great for proxy clents, but the proxy itself is not a client!
and requires static filters.

I have MSP and DNS running on the same machine, and an exchange server
sitting behind the proxy. I have a handful of workstations running WSP
client and accessing email via the exchange server.
I would like to configure the Proxy Server itself as a part-time web
browser and email machine (to access other internet email accounts). I had
this machine running with these functions last week, but noticed they no
longer worked today, most likely because the dynamic packet filtering had
been enabled.....
One question: Should the proxy machine be running the WSP client also? (I
am assuming no, but want to be clear)
I have attempted to add the static filters as outlined but have had no
luck, any additional pointers? Does the existence of the exchange server
pose any complications?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
