I haven't figured out how I'm supposed to configure the Proxy server at the
office in order todo this. Should setup Socks and then have it destination
the.news.com port 119? I have got a clue where to start if somebody could
give me a quick run down it would be much appreciated.

Thanks Darren King

More details, are you on a network client connected to the proxy server ?
Have you loaded the proxy client software on the client?
Where is the news server, on the office network?
Can you access the news server without going through the proxy server ?

Here is the situation. I want to open a port on the server that will let me
look like I'm connecting to the News Server from the server. At home ther
News Server would naturally reject me as I'm not on that network. But if I
could access the server first then go out from there it would not know I was
at home. So I just want to setup a Route that say accepts a connection on
Port 119 and then in turn creates a connection to News Server on Port 119
and relays all the traffic inbetween.
