I have setup a backoffice server and everythig works great but I have my
laptop in the office connected via ethernet but when I go home I dial in to
the server and have acces to the lan and it works good but at the office I
have an isdn line and proxy server for everyone, when I dial in i get access
to the server and the workstations, but when i dial up and click internet
explorer it says cannot connect to server! In the office i browse the
internet and our intranet and exchange mail but when I dial up I cannot use
the proxey server with isdn in the building to get access to the internet
remotley! Am doing something wrong or do I need to upgrade to iis 4 and
proxy 2. If it works at the workstations why wouldn't it work from my laptop
by dial-in. I mean aren't I connected the same way as in the office just not
as fast or local. Any support would be great because I am baffled.

David, this setup can work. I have tested from three machines.
Two running ie4.01 and one running ie3.1. Speed is actually good.

First question: what protocols are active when you have a dial in connection
from home?
