Hi,

I have my NT with a ISP that has NO firewall :<

So I was configuring TCP/IP security and here some of the ports that I
opened

80 WWW TCP
53 DNS UDP/TCP
.... more ports...

protocols
6 (TCP)
17 (UDP)

PROBLEM:
The server can't do nameserver (DNS) lookups! While I enabled port 53 so
what did I forget? Some protocol? (at the right site of advanced
security...)
(pleas also reply to e.ni...@mailoffice.net)

Don't forget that it needs to be open for all ports 1024 and above

NetBIOS over port 83, perhaps? I'm assuming the resolution still has to take
place. Second, what about WINS?
Perhaps that can give you some idea. Hope it helps.
