I have a proxy client, from which I would like to access newsgroups Outlook
Express through the proxy server.
I have enabled access to NNTP for my account, but I still cannot connect.
Is there any thing I need to configure on the client, or anything else I
need to do on the server.

Have you installed the winsock proxy client? Thats all I've ever done to get
OE working for newsgroups.

I have the same problem. I´ve already installed the winsock proxy client
but the newsgroups doesn´t work. I tryed everything but without result.
I think the solution is a new proxy installation.

And how looks your LAT?

Thanks

What errors are you getting? Are you sure the NNTP ports are open on the
proxy server?

I got no errors. I simply can not connect to the newsgroup server with a
client.

>Are you sure the NNTP ports are open on the proxy server?

Yes. I go to Winsockets properties and tell nttp can use everyone
on TCP for in and out using port 119. Right?

I made this all. It does not work!

Did you just re-install over the top of your last installation, or did you
remove the old install first?
