Can't access the internet

Hi,

I am unable to browse the internet on my Laptop using IE, I am able to browse the
LAN. The other computers with the same settings are able to access the Internet.
When I type a URL and hit enter it responds back with the message, Internet
Explorer cannot open the Internet Site http://www.msn.com. A connection with the
server could not be established."
Please help.. As far as I know, we don't use any proxy servers.

The most likely thing is that your default gateway is wrong - set it to the
IP address of your Internet gateway, and you should be ok.
You might also want to check the connection settings on browsers that do
work...
