Some of the software our office uses FTP's information to
the software provider. It works fine in our office, but
when we tried to do this with a machine in another office,
connecting to the same proxy, we had no success. When
they try to connect to any ftp site they get this
error "ftp proxy warning the folder; "the site trying to
connect to " is read only because the proxy server is not
set up to receive full access to more past or
rename.............."

Proxy Server runs NT 4.0, local machine runs Win98, and we
use Proxy Server 2.0.

If all I need to do is set her permission properly, could
someone please give me details on that, I have no idea how
to do it. Thanks for the help.

Ron,

It seems that what you all guys need to do is just install the Winsock proxy client
\\proxyserver\mspclnt

Thank You
