Is there a program to see the overall effect of ISA server firewall config

i.e to see which ports are closed/open on each interface

Been trying ISA Eval on my home system which is Win2K Server SP1, Ex2K and
using Demand Dail ISDN (64k) with RRAS

Have installed and uninstalled twice because of config/access problems, for
instance SMTP and POP3 okay inbound but Outlook unable to send messages and
other problems with dropped graphics from Web pages and other flaky
performace issues.

Can anyone give a recommended config for Integrated ISA install with
Exchange 2000 and Dailup ISDN?

and how does ISA interrelate with RRAS (I.e a services/data-flow block
diagram?)

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND A PROGRAM CALLED IIS SCANNER 4.0. ITS A SCANNING PROGRAM
THAT DOES EXACTLY WHAT YOUR LOOKING TO DO, IT WILL HELP YOU HARDEN YOUR SERVERS
AND RATE YOUR OVERALL EXPOSURE FROM HIGH TO LOW WITH INSTRUCTION HOW TO CLOSE
PORTS. THIS IS AN INTRUDER DETECTION SOFTWARE PROGRAM, I THINK ITS MADE BY A
COMPANY CALLED GLOBE, IF NOT CHECK ON THE NET FOR IDS (INTRUDER DETECTION
SOFTWARE)

Y0UR ON THE VERGE OF HAVING A FIREWALL BOX CREATED AS A BASTION SERVER

GOOD LUCK

Do you have a link to this software? It sounds interesting and I can not
seem to find the one you describe.

TIA

There are many security scanners/intrusion detection systems on market.
Check ISS (www.iss.net), Sunbelt Software (www.sunbeltsoftware.com - they're
software distributors) and even Network Flight Recorder (www.nfr.com) if you
want something strange.

For the very basick needs, online probe caled Shields Up! exists, very
popular one!
