This of course translates to File open in MS Project 2003 on their local C:
drives as well... only seeing the one project listed as it is the one they
are assigned to.
I have checked Enterprise Resource Pool to be sure they are Project Managers
- yes they are. This appears to be an isolated problem.
Any ideas? Thanks much

Are these two PM's members of any other Groups other than the Project
Managers group? If so, remove them from the other Groups and let us know if
that solves the problem. Hope this helps.

a. In PWA, check if these users are members of any other group besides
'Project Managers'. They might be members of other group with restrictive
permissions.
b. In PWA check the individual settings of these users & see if they have
any special permission assigned. Also look into their assigned categories
there.
c. Install View Effective Rights tools from Project Server 2003 Resource
Kit. Check the rights of these users to find what exactly is cauing this
issue.

A look at View Effective Rights Tool:

Also check 'Single users Project Access' in Audi drop down, then from
permission drop down you might want to select 'Open Project' or 'See Projects
in Project Center'
Hope that will help. Let us know in case you need further help.

One thing that came up (didn't know prior) is there has been an error
message at time of logging into PWA (via Windows Authentication) of "You
either do not have permissions to see any projects in this view or the
projects you have permissions to view have not yet been published. Contact
your server administrator."
I have checked the rights compared to other PM's and they are the same...
So, still confused... or lost as it may be... ():->

The self-extractor defaults extracting all the files to:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 Resource
Kit\Toolbox\View Effective Rights Utility
I ran the first sql script but 1. am unsure whether it is OK to make a
registry edit; and 2. unsure where to place the new sec_audit.asp page.
I looked for a readme.txt but did not find one in the install packet.
Also FaisaIM - the second link that you gave me doesn't work...
Can you shed some light on this for us... do you have any other links where
there is more information on the tool?
Thank you very much,
Linda
