System VERY slow after infrastructure update: how to fix it???

Hi all,

after applying the infrastructure update, the EPM (2007) has become
really slow... (about 20 minutes to save a project).

the project stored are quite big (2000 lines projects) and there is a
lot of custom field...

I know that microsoft know about this issue (I have spoken with theMS
support), but I dont't know if it is possible to fix it...

does anyone know how to fix it????

before the infrastructure update to save project it took less than 1
minute...

I would recommend you deploy the latest Cumulative Update (december):

I would also ensure your SQL server and disk system is not a bottleneck
(check out performance counters)
