Hey there,

we had to create an anonymous access to OLAP Cube as describe here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.project.server&mid=cc5d46b7-457c-40c0-8c09-9d551b1edc8f&sloc=en-us

Are there any known dangers due to data protection or anything like that.

My innocent thoughts are: if I disable the Portfoilio-Analyser the user will
not access the views and therefore will have no access to the data of the
OLAP cube.

Is that right? Or is there a likely chance that a user can access the
olap-cube by excel or....whatever????

Kind regards..

Michael

You are crete in your thinking. You are alos corret that a user could access
the olap cude using excel or someother tool. But they would have to know the
OLAP server and the correct connection string information. This is highly
unlikely in must cases.
