We setup a presentation. This presentation works fine on my PC. Then
uploaded to our web server as www.schentag-ce.com/rgp3/schentag/schentag.htm

This presentation works on computers with WMP9 and WMP10.
Some of our computers were upgraded to WMP11 recently. When we played the
presentation there is no video or audio.

Using WMP9, we can open the video/audio files as
mms://www.schentag-ce.com/rgp3_schentag.wmv. In WMP11, we get the following
error message:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another
computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path,
verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be
available.

When using WMP9, the option network tab has a check box for the MMS protocol.
WMP11 does not.
We tried rolling WMP11 back to WMP10 without success.

We are streaming using WMS 4.1 on a Win 2000 server.

Any ideas.

I see the same problem -- I am not sure what the problem is

I suspect the problem is more a WMS on 2000 vs WMP11 problem -- asking
the question on a windows media forum might get you more insight.

( a quick check shows you already have with some responses already so I
will leave you to it)
