Where is it...or is it even available?

The Beta is not on the Connect site can't find it in downloads, cant find
any information anywhere. Some one at least tell me something so I can stop
searching for an answer.

Figures...I see my answer after I post...it's right below this...PRODUCER
2007 HAS BE ABANDONED...So sad. Producer does simply what nothing else
offers. I want to Sync VIDEO and SLIDES! Thats all. Articulate and others do
not easiely let you sync video. CAN't some one craete this, dang people, We
have went people to the moon, but no one can make a decent program to sync
VIDEO and SLIDES into a web based thingy.

I am gonna go cry in the corner now.

Articulate does allow you to synch video with slides (at least in its
current version) - though the mechanism is not the same as Producer, making
the production process clumsier. It is what I use as a substitute. A number
of disadvantages (cost being one of them), a number of advantages (flash
output for instance, quiz and standard AICC,SCORM packaging if you need
that).

Microsoft seems to have been a bit schizophrenic on this -- declaring that
there would be no Producer for PPT2007, then briefly introducing a beta,
only to withdraw it again.

Hi Motie,

If you are interested, you can try our product called iPresent Presio
(http://ipresent.net). We released Presio last year and have had some
good success. We've gotten lots of great feedback from prior MS
Producer users and have frequent releases.

Presio allows you to record audio or video and synchronize it with
PowerPoint slides. You can also import existing media files and
synchronize those with slides as well, very much like Producer.
Presio supports a wide variety of audio/video formats for import.

Presio publishes presentations to Flash, Windows Media, Quicktime, and
Video Podcast (MP4) formats. Presio also includes a Microsoft
Producer Import Wizard for converting Producer projects into Presio
projects.

Here are some examples of what published presentations look like using
Presio:
http://ipresent.net/Presio/examples.php

If you're interested you can download Presio here:

Good luck.
