My slides are images that take up the entire slide, I used text boxes to
create captions. However, I can not figure out how to bring the slide numbers
to show up, they all remain behind the images even if i send-images-to-back
or through the slide master send-the-number-text-box-to-front.

How is it done? Thanks

In PPT 2003 and prior, you can't. In PPT 2007, you can. Which version are
you using?

Not as such but you can insert a textbox and then insert> slide number into
it. Copy and paste the textbox onto any similar slides.

Thanks Echo. You know I tried in 2007 last night and I'd swear it didn't
work!! After a good night's sleep it does!
