How do I insert clips from a dvd movie into powerpoint?

I am trying to insert portions of a dvd movie into a presentation I am doing.
It shows a video_ts format? I cannot get the clips in that I want to
import? Is there something I am doing wrong? Please help? Thanks Tammy

There must have several files in video_ts format, try insert the files
with . vob extension to see if it works.
I'm not so sure about above suggestion.but if you choose mpeg or avi,
that would work.
