One easy way to do this is to go to the target presentation and go to the
Insert menu and choose Slides From Files. Pick the slide(s) you want and be
sure to check "Keep source formatting."

Alternately, from the new presentation, click Insert > Slides from files.
Browse for the ppt file.
Select the slides you want to insert.
Put a checkmark on "Keep Source Formatting".
Then click Insert.
