I'm looking for a list of *highly* active support forums (like this one) and
powerpoint community websites (where people will show off their work, or talk
a little more personally about their projects).

Mostly I would like to find other forums where people help each other and
are actively posting 24/7. A forum that goes through about a page a day of
posts would be a good qualifier.

Please post other active support forums / powerpoint communities that you
know about and like to visit.

Thanks.

Are you friggen kidding me? There has got to be more communities out there!

I remember two (2) forums that I used to have bookmarked a year ago that had
many active members (usually 50+ people viewing the forums at any given
time). But I don't have those bookmarks anymore.. and I can't recall the
site names.

But just look at the these forums I found for Excel...
http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/
http://www.excelforum.com/
http://www.ozgrid.com/forum/ (389 viewing!!)

There must be other forums out there that are PowerPoint-centric that have
this kind of activity.

Please list them in this thread if anyone knows of them.

art.

All I know is that in 10 or 12 years I haven't found anything better than
this group. However, please feel free to search around and let us know what
you find.

Woody's Lounge is a good resource, but it doesn't get nearly as many PPT
posts as this forum does. There's also a forum on the BitBetter site -- but
same thing, it's not that busy.

Many forums out there just slurp their content from these Microsoft groups.
That's what excelforum.com does. I don't know why you think it's better --
it's just a different interface for the
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.excel groups. I mean, just look
at the posting addresses -- @discussions.microsoft.com is a dead giveaway.

http://www.ozgrid.com/forum/ might have 389 viewing, but it looks to me as
if the last PPT post was 3 days ago.

Oh, almost forgot -- there's a fairly active PPT group at yahoogroups.
