extract font from ppt/pptx file?

Hi,
when having a ppt or pptx file with embedded fonts, is there a way to
extract those fonts, for being able to use them with MS word?

One way to do that is to print the presentation to a PostScript file.

People have "for ages" extracted fonts from PostScript. You could google or
ask about that in comp.lang.postscript
