Just joined the newsgroup.
I'm at a loss as to how to print a legal size slide, in landscape mode.
Fairly easy to create using the custom size page set-up.
But the printing options within PPT don't seem to allow 8.5x14?
I've checked my books and the MS website.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the PPT newsgroup, Francine.

Set the printer so it knows it has legal-sized paper in it. (Use
File/Print and hit the Properties button to do this.)

Then make sure to tick the box for "scale to fit paper" at the bottom of
the File/Print dialog box. That should do it.

There are two different sizes you're dealing with here:

One is the size of PowerPoint's slides. You've set that already using File,
Page Setup.

The other is the size of the printer sheet that your slides will print on.
This is chosen in the printer driver (choose File, Print in PPT, then choose
the printer you want to print to, then click Properties to select a paper size.

Put a check next to the "Fit to page" option in PPT's print dialog and you
should be good to go. Legally speaking.
