How do I run multiple sessions of PowerPoint like I can
doi in Excel and Word? I have four monitors and I place
each Excel session ona different monitor. How can I do
the same with PowerPoint? Thanks. Dick Ward

Are you looking at editing presentations on more than one monitor? For this,
you can stretch the PowerPoint window to span multiple monitors, and then
select "Window" | "Arrange All" menu item in PowerPoint.

If you are looking at running multiple slide shows simultaneously on more
than one monitor or want to run a slide show on one monitor while working on
something else on other monitor, then look at PowerShow add-in at
http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html - it enables you to do
that.

Thanks for your advice. It is helpful. I can use
arrange all to stretch across all monitors and get the
job done. However, what I actually want to do is what I
can do in Excel or Word; namely, open multiple sessions
rather than stretch one session with multiple files
across all screens using arrange all. So if you have any
further suggestions, please advise. Thanks. Dick Ward

Hello Richard,
PowerPoint, unlike Excel and Word, is single instance multi-use application
by design. You cannot achieve what you seek; apart from the suggested
workaround or unless you have multiple versions of PowerPoint installed on
the same computer.
