If you click on your values you can change the "number"
to a "percentage." However, your percentage will not be a
percentage of 100%. You need to have your values already
converted to a percentage so that they will display
properly.

To select one series, simply "double" click on the number
until only that series or number is selected. Then you
will be able to format that one number.

Hope this helps.

I was afraid that I will need to resort to computing the
percentages the brute force way. Unfortunately, I am
neither a programmer (per se) nor am I a math major, so I
am looking for help on how to enhanced my current formula
to come up with a percentage instead of a number.

Hence, is there an elegant way to compute the percentage
of A5 based upon the total of the values in column A, but
more specifically the values in the range A1:A123? The
range will vary from time to time, so the formula will
need to automatically adjust. I wonder how Freelance did
their percentage.

Thank you in advance to you and to others for their help!
Regards, Norma
