In Powerpoint 2007 do the following:
1. Click the Office button in the upper left hand side of the screen.
2. Click on PowerPoint options.
3. Click on Language options.
4. Confirm that you have already added Hindi or Sanskrit then add Arabic
(Saudi Arabian).
5. Make sure that you have a Hindi or Sanskrit keyboard installed in the
Regional and Language Options section (in the Control Panel).
6. Use your left ALT and SHIFT keys to switch to Hindi/Sanskrit.
7. Use the numerals across the top of the keyboard to type the Hindi
numbers. The keypad numbers will not work.

Notes:
(a) PowerPoint 2003 will probably work too but I have not tested it.
(b) It probably doesn't matter which Arabic-speaking country that you select
in PowerPoint's Language Options but I have only tested it with Saudi
Arabian.
(c) I have configured computers running both WinXP Pro and Vista Enterprise
using the technique described above.

You may type Hindi Numerals in a PPT by repeating the following steps:
1) Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Settings -> Keyboards and
Languages -> Change Keyboard
2) Select Hindi Traditinal
3) Click Add Butto. A dialogue box opens. Under Hindi select Devangiri or
Hindi Traditional and hit 'ok'.
4) Select Hindi Keyboard and hit move up and then 'ok'.
5) Either in the pane bellow or to the corner or at the top you will find
"EN English (United States) ". From the drop down menu select Hindi (India)
6) Open PPT. Press "ALT" and hit the numbers 123... it should be dispayed in
Hindi.

Hope it helps.
