Can anyone tell me how to insert a PDF file into a powerpoint presentation?
Or is this even possible? I can insert it, but it only shows up as an ICON.
I want it to be a picture not an ICON. I have tried copying a one page PDF
using the cut/paste function and this just copies the text.

I have tried inserting it into a text box and it only shows up as an icon.

I also tried inserting it as an Object and even though the "display as Icon"
box is NOT checked, it inserts as an icon. I then try to convert it using
the Edit function and the check box for "display as Icon" is still NOT
checked and it remains an icon. I don't want to display it as an Icon and
have the action function launch the Adobe Reader program inorder to view
this file in a presenation.

Can you convert PDF files into picture formats like JPEG, GIF, WMF, etc.?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, April Lough

See the PPT FAQ (url below) for a detailed explanation of how to do exactly
what you're after.
