2. I have two presentation (.pps) that run one after the other. They are each
launched by a batch file. There is no link between them. Any ideas on how I can
terminate the first one while the second is running.
3. Can I terminate the .pps file from the bacth file?
Thanks.
I can tell you that we've had some tongue-in-cheek discussions here
about disabling the escape key. One thought was to pop the key off,
apply superglue, then pop the key back on. <g> Another is to hide the
keyboard.
Of course, that was back in July 2000, and of course google groups don't
seem to go back that far yet. Grrrr.
Anybody remember any real solutions to this? I thought there was a VBA
workaround, but I could very well be misremembering.

I have an add-in which will disable ESC provided you are using PPT 2000

Not possible, unless you are using scripting. This requires OLE automation.
