I have an excel spreadsheet with 7 columns and a graph. When I copy and
special past it onto a powerpoint slide, I loose the 2 columns on the right.

In Excel, hold the Shift key while clicking on Edit. Copy now becomes Copy
Picture. Insert that picture into PowerPoint using Paste Special.

Best regards,
Ute

I do not have a Paste Special option...only Paste. I can't get it to copy
correctly into Power Point with only the Paste option.

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? Every version has a Paste Special
option - but it's located in different positions depending on the version.

Best regards,
Ute

Choose EDIT from the main menu.
There's a Paste Special option on the Edit menu.

OK, time to give PPT a well-deserved thumping.

Rightclick the menu bar and choose CUSTOMIZE (bottom of the popup menu that
appears)

Click the Options tab of the Customize dialog box.

Put a check next to "Always show full menus"

Click OK.

Now try the Edit menu again.

If it's STILL not there, go back to the Customize dialog, this time go to the
Toolbars tab. Click the RESET button.
