I'm doing a lot of tables in powerpoint and want them to automatically resize
the font to make the table fit on the page - does anyone know how I do this?

Helen,
I could be wrong but I know of no way to let PPT resize a table based on
content.

Unfortunately, PowerPoint works the other way around ... it resizes the table
cells to accommodate the text/font you've chosen.

But it's simple enough to do this:

Click on any cell in the table.
Press ESC. This selects the entire table rather than just the cell.
Now change the font size to make it smaller or larger; it should change the size
of text in all cells in the table.

Thanks for replying, it's helpful to have my suspicions confirmed (I didn't
think it could).

Thanks, although it doesn't solve the problem, this tip is very useful to know.
