I don't have access to Freelance software on my current computer but have
a file saved in Freelance Presentations (.PRZ) I need to access.
Powerpoint doesn't recognize the format and won't open it. Is there any
shareware that I can download and convert my .PRZ file to .PPT format? Or
any other software I can open my .PRZ file with? I checked out Lotus' site
but it wasn't very helpful.

There is help on the PowerPoint FAQ's page at
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00000.htm that might be useful for your
need.

You might want to access this newsgroup directly (and for free) by setting
up an account in your news reader for news://msnews.microsoft.com and then
pointing to microsoft.public.powerpoint . The reason for doing this?
Faster availability of new posts and responses to existing posts. You will
also be able to have access to up to three months of postings. These same
features are not available through Supernews and you won't have to pay the
monthly fee for Supernews to get to this free newsgroup.

I believe lotus/ibm have a viewer for viewing freelance files. Or at least
they did a couple of years back.

You maybe able to at least view (and possibly print) the presentation, then
re-design it?

cheers

It's ugly at best, Eric.
There's no software that'll convert from PRZ to PPT. In fact, to make it
work even somewhat, you have to open the PRZ and save it as an FL2.x version
presentation, then open that in FL2.x and resave before it'll give you
anything workable.

What TAJ suggested is probably the best bet. Forget converting, figure out
the best way of re-doing the pressie in PPT.
