I'm trying to find license information for distributing
the Powerpoint Viewer. For example, I know Adobe will
allow distribution of it's reader but you've got to fill
out a form. I can't find anything like that on
Microsoft's web site.

Download the file from
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/Ppview97.aspx. Install the
Viewer (or open it with WinZip) and you'll find a license.txt file that
contains the terms. Basically you can freely distribute the Viewer if you
do so "in total" and don't modify it at all.
