Does anyone know of a way to import HG 3.0 files for windows, w/o actually
having HG 3.0, into Powerpoint 95 or even 97? I have several HG
presentations which I would like to easily be able to pull into Powerpoint,
but it does not support HG 3.0. Which I do not understand.

I looked through the KB and was unable to find any information on
converting HG 3.0 for Windows presentation files.

Thanks

Stephen,

The following article lists the file formats that the different versions
(of PowerPoint) are able to open and import.

http://www.microsoft.com/kb/articles/q133/3/55.htm

HGW is not one.

If you are looking for a third party software, then the company to check is
Inso:

http://www.inso.com/frames/product/product.htm

In fact, Inso has a new product available, ImageStream 97, which will
import (per Inso) a WMF of CH3/SY3 (Harvard Graphics 3.0 Chart File/Symbol
File). Are either the file type you are trying to handle?

Keep in mind that you would not be able to edit the WMF. But "easily be
able to pull into PowerPoint" is what Inso states their ImageSteam97
product will do, and they offer a money-back guarantee.
