I am trying to make a photo of a child turn into a photo of him as an adult?
How do I do that?

Crossfading? You will need the child and adult photo.
Then, insert the child and adult photo onto the slide.
Position the photos so they are stacked on top of each other.
Then, click Slide Show > Custom Animation.
Select the child photo, click Add Effect > Exit > Fade.

Now, select the adult photo, click Add Effect > Entrance > Fade (Press tab
key to scroll through photo that is below).
Set the Start from "On click" to "With previous".
See if that is what you want.
