Hi,

Is there a way to mix portrait & landscape slides in the
same file in PPT97 ? Something similar to the feature
found in Word, effected via section breaks. Is there a
work-around, or a vba solution, perhaps ? It would be
useful as one does encounter situations where a mix, if
possible, would help in seamless transitioning in
advancing through the presentation.

TIA
max

Max, head to the multiple masters page of my site (URL below). There're
workarounds and links to other workarounds listed.

You can't mix 'em but you can link from one (landscape) to another
(portrait) presentation if you like.

But if this is for screen show use ... why? The screen will be landscape.
Period. A portrait image on a landscape slide on a landscape screen is
pretty much the same as a portrait image on a portrait slide on a landscape
screen, no?

Thanks, Echo. Traced the lead you gave. Yes, there's loads
of good stuff there. Will look into applying it. Hmm, on
second thought, guess Steve's point about the PC screen
limitation is quite valid. Have bookmarked both your site
& Steve's. cheers. max

Thanks, Steve. Yes, point taken. Looks like landscape is
the way to go for screen shows, unless one has the tilt
adjustable screen. Anyway, I explored your site - contains
lots of good stuff, like Echo's. Have bookmarked both.
cheers. max

Hey, thanks. Glad you found something useful there!

Oh, very much so. I probably didn't word it in that
oh-so-special-only-Steve-could-come-up-with-that way, but I *think* I stuck
a paragraph in on that, too. Hope I did, anyway!

Cool. I'd especially recommend http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00034.htm
for starters.

How do you make Mr. Ascii bow? ;-)
