My Powerpoint opens and then it immediately closes

When I launch Powerpoint the program opens and thena after
a few seconds it closes again. What is the reason for
this problem.

Do you get any error messages from PowerPoint?

Sounds like a conflict in the registry with a ProductID from an earlier
version/install of PowerPoint. Did you have a previous installation of
PowerPoint?
