Compression:
- PPTools Optimizer (http://www.rdpslides.com/pptools/FAQ00013.htm)
- Nxpowerlite
- PPT 2002/2003 does offer a compression feature
Audio:
- Almost all audio is an external linked file (if it a .wav embedded, export
to HTML to extract) and I create a batch optimize routine using Sound Forge
(Goldwave is an excellent shareware/free audio editor that can also do the
same). The I reimport all audio files.
Viewers:
- There are several options to create .exe files of your presentation that
are basically your presentation packaged with the 2003 Viewer. PPT 2003 does
have a version of this capability built into its 'Package for CD' feature.
Also look into SecurePack (http://www.mvps.org/skp/securepack/)
- Articulate does an incredible job of converting to Flash AND retaining all
animations, able to embed multimedia files, etc.
