I have a number of presentations that I have completed using Harvard
Graphics 3.0. I have now changed to MS powerpoint (Part of MS Office
Pro). has anyone converted a presentation from HG to Powerpoint, if so
how was this achieved?

There are no translators for Windows versions of Harvard, only for the
DOS versions.

You have two options: 1. save as a DOS version and use the provided
translators, or 2. open both HG and PPT in slidesorter mode and
copy/paste.

Make that 3 options - save the HG page (you have to do this one-by-one)
as .wmf and import that.

Not very satisfactory, I'm afraid, but that's all I can suggest.

I now hear that an HG Windows saved as DOS will not open with the
translator - it will only work with orignal DOS files - sorry.

As to the .wmf route - that should work. You need to start a new
presentation and then import the .wmf pages one by one.

If you are saving it from Harvard Graphics 3.0 for Windows as a DOS
version, you will need to open it in Harvard Graphics DOS and save it
again. Our converter needs some file tags that are only written when you
save from the DOS version.
