Is there anyway to make text blink?

Well, there is the Flash animation, if you just need the text to flash
once. But if you mean blink in the manner that I think you do <g>, then
you need to copy the text as many times as you want it to blink, line
those up, and use the Flash animation on all of them. If you set the
last text just to "Appear," you can make the blinking stop.

Wouldn't it be easier to use animated GIFs? If that's not your favor you
can do AVIs as well.

Prepare the slide on which you want the blinking text. Set the text to flash
once,(speed)
Set the one-slide show ("blinker") to run continuously
Save it
Insert "blinker" into "main"
Animate blinker to play x seconds after last event

The "main" slide comes up, "blinker" runs until you press escape and brings
you back to "main".
