Problems in printing drawing objects

PROBLEM REPORT

Powerpoint version: 2000

Windows version: 2000 SP1

Other hardware involved (printer, etc): HP Laserjet 4100Ps on the network

Description of problem:

When I print a slide with the embeded drawing objects, the edges of the
objects
are all printed out. However, they are not visible from the screen or in the
slide show because I choose "No line" when I create them.

I have tried to turn off the "Background printing" tab and other things, but
the problem still remains. Your help is much appreciated.

In the printer dialog, choose Grayscale or Color, then print a slide or two.
Does that solve the problem?
