If you don't want the shrink to show as you run the slide, place the object
off the slide (in the gray area) and give it a motion path to bring it to
it's expected location at a speed of very fast. Move this motion path to
just after the shrink and set it to run after previous. Select both the
shrink and the move animations, right click and go to timing. Click in the
speed box and type ".01" (without the quotes). OK your way out and run the
slide. The delay will be shorter than the human eye can see.
Want to set the grow or shrink percent to something other than the preset
options? You can set a custom grow shrink value by clicking the drop down
arrow and change the percent to the number you desire followed by the
percent sign. (I know you can go as small as 1% of current size or as large
as 1000% of current size, but don't know if those are the real limits.) Hit
the tab key to apply the change.
