I am following the info in Microsoft PowerPoint and Multimedia to trouble
shoot a video clip I am running in PP2000. The article suggests running the
clip in mplayer.exe or mplayer32.exe. I am running Windows XP professional
and can only find a file called mplayer2.exe. Is this the compatible file.

Thanks for an info you can provide.

It should be mplay32.exe in Windows XP.
Start>Run>mplay32.exe.

Adam,

Thanks for your help, are the settings in WIN.INI and SYSTEM.INI for XP and
mplay32 the same as stated in the article? If they are not, where can I
find what they should be. What is in my WIN.INI and SYSTEM.INI is very
different from the article.

Thanks
Pat

Pat, I have sent your other post to Austin asking him to respond. Be
patient. He's a farmer with a bad shoulder. :>))
