How can I convert a visio 2002 file to a powerpoint
format so people with powerpoint can see the file?

Well, I don't think you can actually *convert* a visio diagram to a PPT
file, but you should be able to use Insert/Object to get the diagram
*viewable* in the PPT file.

Will that work for you?

a graphics file. the resolution is not good.
If you want to send your visio file to any one you can
save it as a .html, any one with a internet brouser can
view it, the resolution is better also.
