I'm using PowerPoint 2007. For some reasons, I can not create a new blank
presentation. However, I can open existing presentations, create a new
presentation based on Installed Templates.

Any advice on how to create this issue?

Have you tried keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + N or adding New command (PPT
Options, Customize,Popular group) to QAT?

Hi

Do you mean that your blank presentation isn't blank or something else? How
are you trying to create a new blank presentation and what happens when you
try?

Create a default "blank" presentation with your own defaults

How can I remove the template / revert to the original blank template?

When I launched the application, it brought up PowerPoint application, but no
slides display where you would normally see a blank slide. What I did was,
open an existing presentation, deleted all the slides except the title slide,
changed the design to a basic stlye and saved it as a blank presentation
template. Now when I launch PowerPoint, it displays a blank slide.

Thank to everyone who has contributed to the post.
