Hi,

Does anyone know if you can change the color of a hyperlink in a
powerpoint presentation? And also get rid of the line under the
hypertext?

If I select the words, I can't change the color like you normally do
with texts.

Thanks, Elka

As I recall (without looking) you can change the colour scheme - there
is a custom setting which will allow you to alter the colur of the
hyperlink

Thank you for your answer Tony, but can you also tell me where I can find
this custom setting? I can find it anywhere. If I go to Tools - Options -
..... there is nothing about hyperlinks (let alone about colors etc.).

Elka, it's under Format/Slide Color Scheme in the Custom tab. The last 2
options are for hyperlinks & followed hyperlinks.

Tanx, tanx. Do you also know if it is possible to get rid of the line under
the words (when it is a hyperlink)? I can't find it in edit hyperlink (you can
only change the location there).

And another thing is: why is it that everytime you click on a hyperlink in a
presentation, a new browser of Netscape is starting. If you have many
hyperlinks in your presentation (say 10), then you also have in the end 10
browsers of Netscape open and a big change that the computer will brake down.
:-( Does anyone know how you can change this in any way?

Thanks.

I don't believe that is possible - the underline identifies the text
as a hperlink.

I know this has come up before on this NG, but I don't have a record
of any fix.

Anyone else help out here?
