You can't. That feature's not available for Mac PowerPoint.
Since you have PPT on the Dell, you can do the job there.

Perhaps the pictures are already compressed or are already at proper resolution
for the size at which tehy're displayed.
If you'd like to work this out further:
Choose an example picture in your PPT file
How large is it (inches/points/cm) according to PowerPoint?
How large is the original image (in pixels)?
