Does anyone know how to show live webpages on a slide? I
don't want a hyperlink, I just want to show the page as
the slide is loaded up
Thanks in advance
Dom

You can't show a "live" page. However, you can do a screen capture of the
page you want, save it as a JPG or GIF and then insert it as an image in
PPT. If it must be "live", a hyperlink is the way to go.

Can you not embed MSHTML then???

Of course you can embed PPT inside a browser, and then just hide ppt when
you want to view the live page...

Jim.

Jim, is there a way to embed HTML? I've never found a "native" way, but the
VBA wizards may have something up their sleeves. Of course, that wouldn't
be a "live" page. You can use Launch.exe, but that will open the browser,
just like a hyperlink, which
it seems that Dom didn't want.

Seems like if you save from Exploder as singlefile/archive format you can
insert that as an object, set it's animation settings to Activate and
click/boomp/there it is.

Not sure how to get it to activate automatically w/o having to click it, but
it's a start.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jim.

Hi Sonia, Jim and Steve,
I've inserted the Microsoft Web Browser object into the
Presentation (from Toolbox) and added a button whose
OnClick event is
'WebBrowser.Navigate "www.everythingeducation.org"'. This
is perfect except for the fact that on the day of the
presentation it will be looping automatically without
anyone clicking a button!
If there is a way to activate the Web browser object
automatically it would be fantastic.
Thanks for all your suggestions,
Dom
