I just purchased Office 2003. With older editions I have
been able to copy paste pictures off the internet into my
powerpoint presentation. With this latest edition the
picture copies to the clipboard but will not paste into
the presentation. I don't know what to do to command the
clipboard to paste the picture. The paste command in the
edit menu doesn't paste the picture. Please help. I am
a teacher and use powerpoint as a lecture tool.
Thanks, Judy

It should still work as usual. The only reason it won't work is if you are
trying to copy a picture that is an HTML object and not a GIF or JPG (for
example). Try this method instead because it will result in smaller sized
files which are easier to transport and open:

1. Right-click the internet image and left click on "Save picture as".
2. Browse to a folder on your hard drive and save the picture file.
3. In PowerPoint, click the "Insert" menu, select "Picture", and click "From
file".
4. Browse to the folder above and select your image.
