I've made some tables using Excel. I then cut and past the selected cells
into Powerpoint 97 slides. The tables look good except that the border
thicknesses assigned for different cells don't reproduce consistently.

In other words, some lines of the table that were created with the same
thickness show different thickness on the final slide.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Thanks in advance!
John

Check two things:

- Slide show view
- Printouts

I remember running into this and finding that while the line thicknesses
didn't always match up in slide view, they'd be ok when printed.

Another thing to check: after pasting the cells into PPT, do you resize
them? If so, don't paste; instead, try PasteSpecial, Link. The resizing
works much better that way.

Steve,

I don't need to print my slides. The problem persists though when I'm in
"Slide Show View". Also, it doesn't matter whether I resize the image or
not. I'll try the "Paste Special" technique.
