Can PowerPoint show slides in a random order?

Either I'm blind or just stupid, but Icannot find where I can set PowerPoint
2003 to run slides in a random order! IT's driving me nuts!

Michael,

Powerpoint does not have the ability to display a deck of slides in a random
order.

However, this add-in does give powerpoint the ability

For a straightforward random slideshow, Tushar's add-in is the best. For
other options, check out "Randomize the order of a PowerPoint presentation"
from the PPT FAQ (it lists Tushar's add-in first because it is the best):
